2021 for me was a year of resilience and growth. Despite the continued pandemic, I have been extremely busy at Cineálta HQ packing, shipping your orders and replying to hundreds of enquiries. Although I avoided international travels last year, I managed to squeeze a much-needed break in Donegal during summer. The place was just heaven.
The launch of my clay deodorants in late 2020 was overwhelming. And I couldn’t be any more proud when my Oráiste variant was given an international recognition by The Beauty Shortlist Wellbeing Awards 2021. This commendation was truly a huge deal for me. Despite this, as making them takes a lot of time and energy, my deo products has taken the back seat for the mean time. I have yet to create a better timetable this year as customer service has taken a big chunk of my time plus being a stay-at-home Mum there is not much time left for formulating/manufacturing. 
Our biodegradable packaging sales has doubled (Yay!) compared to the previous year and we have since ventured into custom orders. Although accepting custom-made packaging was frightening at the beginning, it was well worth it in the end. It’s hard to beat the feeling of meeting the customer’s satisfaction and making them happy with their packaging.
Since our start in 2019 we now supply to 38 countries! As most of you have noticed, our website have stopped selling outside the UK market since July (due to IOSS EU VAT issue that I have yet to fully understand) but buyers from any part of the world can still go to our Etsy Shop to place your orders. We would like to thank you all for leaving us more than 200 glowing 5-star reviews!
As of December 2021, I’m very proud to announce that we (yes, you and I) have funded the planting of 1,463 trees across the globe. I must say, more than the sales and recognition for my deodorant, planting this much trees in a year is what I consider my best achievement for 2021 and it’s all thanks to you.
We have new packaging products that I have yet to list on this website and I hope to be more active in our blog and write more about the items. But you may check my Instagram account as I post there from time to time.
